Demand the DOJ release the Epstein files ASAP!
This week, it was reported that House republicans have been furiously working behind the scenes to prevent a vote on releasing the government’s files on Jeffrey Epstein in October. Reps. Thomas Massie (KY-Rep) and Ro Khanna (CA-Dem) indicated that they have the 218 signatures necessary to force the House to take a floor vote on releasing the files.
Why are Republican leaders like Mike Johnson so eager to prevent a vote on releasing the Epstein files? We’ve only heard about his multiple connections to cult leader Trump nonstop over the last month, including a creepy birthday message and other correspondence between them. Especially after Trump and other Republicans campaigned on releasing the files in 2024, the president “couldn’t understand why people were so obsessed” with learning more about Epstein’s associations. Now we’ve learned that several of Trump’s closest associates, like Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, and Elon Musk, are also connected to Epstein through meetings and flights on Epstein’s private plane.
Demand the GOP release the Epstein Files!
Earlier this month, a number of Epstein survivors called on Congress to release the files. In a statement, one of the survivors told the Trump administration and Congress that “you have the power to be transparent” and achieve some measure of justice for the survivors. Despite these pleas, Trump and other key MAGA figures such as Mike Johnson, Kash Patel and Pam Bondi seem entirely uninterested in allowing the public to access any more information about Epstein. What are they hiding?
