One Direction is arguably one of the biggest boybands of the 21st century. Their worldwide fame and devoted fanbase propelled the successful solo careers of the five lads from England and Ireland.
The boys—Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan—all appeared in the UK singing competition show The X Factor.
