Eric Ebron, former NFL tight end and University of North Carolina standout, is taking his Tar Heel pride to the streets in style.
The 31-year-old recently revealed his latest ride-a custom Tesla Cybertruck that pays homage to his alma mater, the University of North Carolina.
With a sleek matte black finish and striking Carolina blue accents, Ebron’s new vehicle is hard to miss.
Ebron, known for his exceptional football career at UNC from 2011 to 2013, has always carried his love for the Tar Heels close to his heart.
Now, that passion is clearly reflected in his custom Cybertruck.
The electric pickup, designed by Dreamworks Motorsports, features a satin black color change wrap and 26-inch Giovanna Dicotto wheels, finished in gloss black with reflective UNC blue.
The truck’s exterior is adorned with “Tar Heels” emblazoned on the side, while “Eighty-Five”–Ebron’s former UNC jersey number-stands proudly on the back.
Inside, the Tar Heel theme continues.
The interior is fully customized with Carolina blue leather seats, a matching dash, and door panels.
Even the headrests and floormats bear the Tar Heels logo, ensuring no detail was overlooked.
The vehicle’s LED lights, which can switch to various colors, include a nod to UNC blue, adding a final touch of flair to the already impressive ride.
Though the exact cost of this custom job hasn’t been disclosed, Cybertrucks start at around $81,000, and with the level of detail in Ebron’s customization, it’s clear no expense was spared.
Given Ebron’s successful NFL career, which saw him earn over $37 million, the cost likely didn’t pose much of a challenge.
Ebron, who last played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021 after stints with the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts, has made a name for himself both on and off the field.
His dedication to the Tar Heels remains evident, and now, with his custom Cybertruck, it’s clear he’s still representing UNC with pride.
