Time Cut (2024) is a genre-bending horror movie with a time-travel twist, blending slasher elements and sci-fi. Starring Madison Bailey and Antonia Gentry, it follows Lucy, a high school senior in 2024 who discovers a time machine at the site of her sister Summer’s murder, which occurred 21 years earlier in 2003.
After activating the machine, Lucy is transported back to 2003, where she meets her sister and her friends just before the infamous killing spree begins. As Lucy attempts to prevent the murders, she faces a dilemma: if her sister survives, Lucy may never exist. The story explores themes of familial love, sacrifice, and the consequences of meddling with time. The killer’s identity—an alternate version of one of the main characters—adds a shocking twist.
