After the world forgets Peter Parker’s identity following a magical reset (triggered by a Faustian deal with Mephisto to save Aunt May), Peter finds himself living in a “brand new day”—a world where no one knows he’s Spider-Man, and his past relationships are fractured or erased. Struggling with isolation, a lack of resources, and a fresh start, Peter tries to rebuild his life in a New York that’s increasingly hostile to vigilantes. He’s broke, single, and on the outs with old allies. Worse, a new wave of villains—like the deadly Mister Negative, illusionist Mysterio, and the merciless Overdrive—emerge to fill the vacuum left by more organized crime. As Spider-Man faces these threats, he’s haunted by the cost of the deal he made. Memories surface. Shadows linger. And a strange figure watches from afar—hinting that his “brand new day” may not be as clean a slate as he thought. In this darker, morally complex chapter, Spider-Man must answer: Was the price of saving a life worth losing the life he had?
