Top Gun: Maverick is the long-awaited sequel to the 1986 classic film Top Gun. Released in 2022, the film once again stars Tom Cruise as the iconic Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, now a seasoned Navy aviator who has stubbornly refused to be promoted in order to continue flying.
