AceShowbiz – Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco may be having baby fever after dating for around one year now. As they remain strong, the pair have been pictured with a baby, giving fans a glimpse of a life that they could build together in the future.
In the photo, Benny happily cradled the infant in his arms with Selena sitting next to him. She looked radiant as she flashed a big smile and put her head close to the baby’s while she’s clad in a white dress and a tan robe.
The couple took the picture with a fan’s newborn child as they ran into the happy parent while they were seemingly at what looks like a restaurant. The fan, who reportedly asked for the picture and posted it on TikTok, captioned the snap, “My baby meets Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco on my birthday.”
While the photo looks innocent, some people took it as a dig at Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin), who is currently pregnant with her and Justin Bieber‘s first child together. Comparing the “Wizards of Waverly Place” actress to a snake, someone commented on the photo which was reposted on Instagram, “[snake emojis] Selena.”
“she did this because hailey and justin are about to have a baby she needs help asap!” a second fan of Hailey claimed. Accusing the 31-year-old of being jealous of the Rhode founder, a third added, “Selena is copying envious jealous.”
Some others, meanwhile, were simply delighted at the sight of the sweet couple with a baby. “if selena got pregnant she will break the internet Selena will be such a good mom,” a fan of Selena predicted. Another gushed, “This is so sweet I can’t wait until the day she becomes a mother.” Someone else remarked, “They are so cute.”
Benny has made no secret his desire to start a family with Selena after dating since last year. When asked on “The Howard Stern Show” about having children with his girlfriend, he revealed, “It’s always a topic of conversation to me every day.”
Selena later responded to Benny’s remarks. “He can’t lie to save his life,” the singer/actress quipped during a sit-down with TIME. “If he’s asked a question, he’ll answer it.” She further dished on their relationship, “It’s really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that he’s not going anywhere any time soon.”
