NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Country music’s biggest stars will come together in Nashville to celebrate the life of the late Toby Keith on July 29.
“Toby Keith: American Icon,” a live concert event to honor the “I Love This Bar” and “American Soldier” singer at Bridgestone Arena, will feature stars such as Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, The War and Treaty and more.
Toby Keith, country singer-songwriter, dies at 62 after stomach cancer diagnosis
Keith died in February after a battle with stomach cancer. The global star amassed 42 top-10 hits, 33 No. 1s, and sold more than 40 million albums during his career.
Tickets for the star-studded show go on sale this Friday, June 28 on Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. A portion of the ticket sales will go to Keith’s charity and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The special event will air on NBC on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT.
