Fans were pleased to see Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr pose with framed jerseys of Cristiano Ronaldo and other Los Blancos legends in his home gym. He shared the picture on his Instagram story on July 26.
After an underwhelming Copa America 2024 campaign with Brazil, Vini Jr seems to be back in the gym to gear up for the next season at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Brazilian shared an image on his Instagram story posing from the gym. The wall behind him had the framed jerseys of club legends Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos.
Vini’s story left Madridistas on X elated, as many shared their thoughts on the platform complimenting the forward on his snap. Here are some of the reactions:

In a 2023 interview with Marca, Vinicius Jr paid his respects to Cristiano Ronaldo by calling him his idol and inspiration. The Brazilian sports the iconic No. 7 jersey at Real Madrid, a number once worn by his idol Ronaldo for the same club. Speaking of inheriting the legendary shirt, the winger said:
“I’m very grateful to wear this jersey that many other great players have worn.”
The Brazilian also revealed that he has grown up watching Ronaldo play for Madrid and is inspired by his legacy at the club.
“I am inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo because I’ve watched all of his games and he marked an era at the club. He’s an idol for me,” Vinicius Jr admitted.
Vinicius has been spotted replicating Ronaldo’s iconic “Siu” celebration multiple times on the pitch after scoring for Los Blancos. This includes his hat-trick in the Supercopa de Espana final against Barcelona last season.
