Dominik Mysterio explained himself on WWE RAW.
Mysterio previously betrayed Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam, as he helped Liv Morgan beat her and retain the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Rhea Ripley came to the ring on the August 12 episode of WWE RAW and noted that she had been thinking a lot about what happened at WWE SummerSlam. She noted that she felt embarrassment, heartbreak, and most recently, she was “pissed the hell off.” Ripley said that Dominik Mysterio stabbed her in the back, and while Liv Morgan ran away with her title, she couldn’t run forever. She said it was time for her to remind the two of them who she was.
Liv Morgan And Dominik Mysterio Interrupt
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio interrupted from high up in the crowd. Dominik said that he was a man, and he deserved to be treated like one. He said that it was embarrassing to be bossed around all the time, whereas Morgan let him be himself. Dominik also noted that Morgan gave him chicken “tendies” whenever he wanted, and she helped him finally beat his “deadbeat dad.”
Ripley responded by saying that she was proud of Dominik and all that he had accomplished. She told Dominik that she wanted him to beat Rey on his own.
Ripley then said Dominik may have made a decision on his own, but it was the last one he would ever make. Morgan told Ripley that Dominik was a man, and he was all hers. She said that Ripley had nothing, as she didn’t have her family anymore. Morgan told Ripley that she took everything from her. Ripley fired back by saying that Morgan took her weak links from her. She said Morgan would have to kill her to stop her from coming after her.
Ripley went on to reveal that it was a trap, as Damian Priest snuck up behind them. He grabbed Dominik Mysterio and attacked him. Morgan and Ripley got involved, and they brawled throughout the arena. Priest got Dominik in the ring, but Carlito attacked Priest from behind. Priest fought him off.
Priest went on to defeat Carlito in a singles match. When McDonagh, Balor, and Mysterio attacked him after the bell, Ripley made the save. Ripley and Priest stood tall, and Morgan saved Dominik from a Riptide by Ripley.
