Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo owns several properties around the world, including a $9.7 million villa in Madeira, a $1.8 million villa in Marbella on the Costa del Sol, and an $18.5 million apartment in Trump Tower, New York City.
In 2023, Semana reported that Ronaldo is building a mega-villa intended for his retirement after he retires from professional football. This luxurious villa is located in Quinta da Marinha, a VIP neighborhood overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and just 33 km from the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
Although still under construction, some details about this extravagant villa have been revealed. The villa, owned by the 1985-born footballer, will feature a massive glass swimming pool with advanced features, including an underwater walkway that allows for views of the ocean floor.
The mega-villa will be built on a plot of land covering 3,000 m², with a total area of 1,957 m². The bedroom of the forward, who currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, along with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, will span an impressive 300 m². The estimated value of this villa is around €32 million , with completion expected in 2025.
The villa’s terrace will also include a bar and panoramic ocean views. Additionally, the home will feature a smart heating system, a gym, a sauna, a cinema room, and a garage capable of housing Cristiano Ronaldo’s collection of cars, including a Bentley Flying Spur, Bugatti Veyron, and Lamborghini Aventador.
Moreover, the villa will be equipped with faucets made of solid gold. The house will be constructed from marble sourced from Italy and adorned with custom Louis Vuitton wall art designed for the Portuguese star. As a fan of Japanese cuisine, Ronaldo has also dedicated a space for a sushi room in his home, complete with a professional chef.
Notably, the garage of this mega-villa will accommodate up to 20 cars. Ronaldo has also installed solar panels that can efficiently power the entire home.
According to Semana, when completed, this will be the most expensive residence in Portugal.
