“Lone Survivor” is an action war film based on the true story of the U.S. Navy SEALs’ mission in Afghanistan in 2005. Directed by Peter Berg, the film is based on the book of the same name by Marcus Luttrell, the only survivor of an assassination mission.

The story revolves around a team of four SEALs (Sea, Air, and Land) led by Captain Marcus Luttrell (played by Mark Wahlberg). The team is tasked with eliminating Taliban leader Ahmad Shah, but the mission encounters difficulties when they are discovered by a group of local villagers.

Faced with the difficult decision of killing innocent civilians or revealing their position, the team chooses to let them go. This decision leads to serious consequences as the SEAL team is attacked by a large Taliban force. In the brutal fight, team members are killed one by one, and Luttrell must fight to survive on his own.
