Man City is planning to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer in January 2025, as the Etihad Stadium side looks to strengthen their midfield following Rodri’s injury.
Manager Pep Guardiola has included Pogba on his list of potential targets, alongside Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle) and Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad).
Pogba, born in 1993, is ready to return to action in 2025 when his 18-month ban is lifted in March. The French midfielder is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Juventus.
Although he is 31 years old and has had a break from playing, the caliber of the 2018 World Cup champion is undeniable. Man City may sign Pogba for the short term while waiting for Rodri to fully recover.
