Gigi Hadid admitted she’s ‘in cahoots’ with her ex-boyfriend and singer Zayn Malik as they coparent their four-year-old daughter Khai this Christmas.

According to an interview with the London Evening Standard, Gigi spoke warmly about co-parenting during the holiday season.

She expressed how she cherishes these festive moments more than before, stating “everything’s more special seeing it through her eyes.”

The supermodel opened up about how she and Zayn Malik have teamed up this Christmas.

She revealed: “This year, Zayn and I are in cahoots starting Elf on the Shelf.”

The 29-year-old fashion icon plans to break a decade-long tradition of gingerbread house decorating on Christmas Eve at their Pennsylvania farmstead.

“I might switch it up,” the model admitted. “I might get into trouble, but I’m the host.”

The anticipated gathering will include her mother, Yolanda Hadid, and siblings Bella and Anwar.

Gigi hinted at the possibility of additional guests, possibly alluding to Bradley Cooper, by saying, “we always end up having extra people.”

Two years after splitting from the former One Direction member, the model started dating the Hangover actor. The couple have now been publicly dating for a year and has moved into his New York apartment.

Looking ahead to 2025, the runway star pledged to leave “bad energy and people behind”.

She expressed: “I’m not really a New Year’s resolution type gal. I just keep the good things rolling.”

According to her sister Bella’s previous Instagram post, the “bad energy” doesn’t pertain to her ex-boyfriend.

In September, Bella Hadid hinted at the status of Gigi’s relationship with Zayn through a heartfelt Instagram post.

The 27-year-old model and actress seemingly confirmed that Gigi and Zayn are on amicable terms despite their breakup in 2021, as they continue to co-parent Khai. She included a special shout-out to her niece’s parents, writing: “CC @gigihadid x @zayn my favourite collab thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The accompanying photo showed her and Khai sharing a smile while seated on the back of a pick-up truck.

Gigi and Zayn were in an on-again-off-again relationship for about six years until they split in October of 2021.
