Liam Payne’s heartbreaking Christmas wish for son, Bear resurfaces

Liam Payne had a Christmas wish for his son, however, in a tragic turn of events, he is no longer around to see it.

The late One Direction star and his ex-partner, Cheryl Cole, shared a son together named Bear. And despite having parted ways, Christmas remained a happy family affair for the three.

In a heartbreaking interview that has resurfaced this Christmas, after the tragic demise of the young pop star, he told This Morning back in 2018, “I’m going to go down and see Bear, maybe cook a Christmas dinner and just hang out with family.”

“Yeah, we’re going to go down and cook some food and hang out,” Payne added at that time.

“I think it’s the first time he really gets Christmas now,” the What Makes You Beautiful singer had expressed, thinking of Bear.

“I want to see if he actually gets unwrapping presents this year though, because otherwise, it’ll just be Cheryl by the tree again. I can really remember it from last year, she wrapped them all up and then unwrapped them and I just sat there going, ‘Right, what is this?'” Payne recalled.
