After Khloe Kardashian spent Christmas tending to daughter True Thompson’s high fever, the reality star shared heartwarming proof that the 6-year-old is getting better.
True Thompson’s holiday health scare seems to be in the rearview.
After Khloe Kardashian’s daughter was forced to sit out of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Christmas Day festivities due to a fever, the reality star shared a positive update on True’s recovery.
In a post shared on Instagram Stories Dec. 28, Khloe captured the 6-year-old in the driver’s seat of a pink toy ice cream truck complete with personalized details, including a “True’s World Famous Ice Cream Truck” sign and a custom “ITS TRUE” vanity license plate.
“The very first sign that maybe we are feeling better,” Khloe wrote in the post. “First time she’s well enough to play with Santa’s gifts.”
The mom of two—she shares True as well as son Tatum Thompson, 2, with ex Tristan Thompson—previously revealed that her family had a tough time fighting sickness in the days leading up to Christmas. After sharing that Tatum was “super sick” the weekend before the holiday, Khloe, 40, added that his big sister subsequently fell ill, forcing her to nap while the rest of the family got together at Kris Jenner’s house.
“It was really scary,” the Good American founder confessed on her Instagram Stories Dec. 26. “Yesterday we still all hung out at my mom’s. She was sleeping in another room while I was cooking breakfast and all that, because we still wanted to be around the Christmas spirit.”
In fact, the fever was so bad that Khloe had to postpone opening True’s presents until Boxing Day.
“We’re just doing Santa toys today, because she just wasn’t in the mood yesterday, poor thing,” she continued. “That’s when you know your kid is sick, when Santa toys don’t even excite them. Poor, poor thing. I’m so excited she’s feeling better!”
