Set in 19th-century Eastern Europe, the film follows Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac), a brilliant but egotistical scientist obsessed with defying natural laws. In his quest to create artificial life, he assembles a being from corpses and animates it using electricity. Horrified by the creature’s grotesque appearance, Frankenstein abandons his creation, leading to a tragic chain of events. The creature (Jacob Elordi), endowed with human emotions and intelligence, grapples with isolation and rejection, seeking understanding and vengeance from his creator.
