San Andreas 2 picks up the story after the catastrophic earthquake of the first film. Ray Gaines (played by Dwayne Johnson), a brave rescue pilot, once again faces an even more dangerous natural disaster.
In this installment, the Pacific Rim region is warned of a series of mega-earthquakes and tsunamis that could cause far greater destruction than the previous disaster. Ray’s family, including his ex-wife Emma (played by Carla Gugino) and daughter Blake (played by Alexandra Daddario), is once again caught up in the chaos. Together, they must find a way to survive nature’s fury and prevent future disasters.
