After the events of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) is trying to adjust to life outside the shadow of his father, Xu Wenwu, and the power of the Ten Rings. However, when the ghosts of the past and dark secrets of the Ten Rings begin to resurface, Shang-Chi realizes that his family’s legacy and his power are not fully liberated. When a new villain, The Timekeeper, emerges with the ability to manipulate time, seeking to use the Ten Rings to alter the course of history, Shang-Chi faces a difficult choice: uphold his ideals of peace, or alter the fate of the world to prevent a global war. Shang-Chi teams up with his best friend Katie (Awkwafina) and his newly discovered sister Xialing (Meng’er Zhang), who now leads a powerful secret organization, to face The Timekeeper and stop his plan. Their journey takes them through mysterious locations, from ancient palaces in China to time rifts created by The Timekeeper. Ultimately, Shang-Chi must confront his own past and decide whether to wield the power of the Ten Rings to stop The Timekeeper, or accept the consequences of the time changes he wishes to make. With help from heroes like The Avengers and Doctor Strange, Shang-Chi and his allies must fight not just to save the present, but to protect the future of the universe.
