Genre: Horror | Thriller | Mystery Release Date: 2024 Directed by: Kiah Roache-Turner (known for genre-bending horror) Studio: BloodMoon Pictures
Plot Summary
Deep in the countryside, a quaint veterinary research facility hides a horrifying secret. When a small town experiences a surge in animal behavior gone wrong, local veterinarian Dr. Lena Hartley is called in to investigate. But what begins as a search for rabies or poisoning soon uncovers a horrifying truth: the dogs aren’t sick… they’re evolving.
After an experimental serum designed to enhance loyalty and intelligence is leaked, the town’s canine population transforms into hyper-intelligent predators—coordinating, hunting, and outsmarting humans with terrifying precision.
As Lena uncovers the dark past behind the lab and its military backers, she must survive the night with a small group of survivors, fending off an uprising of man’s most trusted companion… now turned pack hunters.

Buzz and Early Reactions
Early test screenings report an atmosphere reminiscent of The Thing meets Cujo—tense, claustrophobic, and psychologically unnerving. Critics praise the film’s clever allegory on genetic tampering and nature’s rebellion, while horror fans are loving its slow-burn suspense and shocking third act.
The Dogs (2024) promises a fresh, feral take on the horror genre—where survival depends not on who’s the strongest… but who the pack lets live.Coming soon to theaters. Keep the lights on. Lock the doors. And don’t call them good boys.
