The Legend of Zelda is a long-running action-adventure video game series created by Nintendo, with its central plot revolving around the struggle between good and evil in the fantasy land of Hyrule (and occasionally other realms). In most Legend of Zelda games, the evil being Ganon (or a similar dark force) threatens to plunge the world into darkness, often by seeking control of a powerful relic called the Triforce—a sacred artifact made up of three pieces representing Power, Wisdom, and Courage. The Triforce can grant any wish to the one who holds all three parts.
