The past couple of months have been pretty busy for Jack Wagner — in addition to returning to Bold and Beautiful as Nick Marone for a summer storyline, the actor also married his longtime girlfriend, musician Michelle Wolf. While Nick hasn’t had the best luck in love — he’s returning to try and win Brooke back again — Wagner has found happiness with his new bride. And the honeymoon dovetailed nicely with his B&B return when the soap went on location in Italy!
Finding Love Again
“Michelle, my wife, we’ve been dating for a little over four years,” Wagner tells Soap Opera Digest. “She’s an amazing musician, songwriter, and singer. So that’s how we met. Used her background session in a vocal. We met in a recording session.”
The wedding was held at the Bel Air Country Club and was an intimate affair attended by some of his friends and co-stars from the Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart, where he stars as Bill Avery. “We had a small guest list, 40 people,” he reports. “We had a priest; we honored our faith. And Lori Loughlin spoke, Al Michaels spoke, Marty Fish, the tennis great, spoke, John Guitar Watkins from Michelle’s band spoke, my son Peter Wagner, her daughter… so it was a very poignant, yet fun-filled day.”
Dance Like No One’s Watching
At the reception, the newlyweds shared their romantic first dance together before the party *really* kicked off. “Michelle had a DJ and we do our dance, the *Harry Met Sally* song that she wanted,” Wagner recalls. “Then, as soon as it’s over, she goes, ‘Let’s dance!’ And as soon as a woman says, ‘Let’s dance!’ it’s over, man. The DJ kicked in, and the last two hours were just rocking. There’s not many times where people let their hair down and just… everybody was dancing for hours. So we had a great time. And Erin Krakow, the star of When Calls the Heart, she was there and her husband Ben. So yeah, we had a great day. A lot of fun.”
Wagner was also able to mix business with pleasure when he and his new bride honeymooned in Italy at the same time B&B was planning a location shoot. “We went over to Naples and the Amalfi Coast for six days, and then in comes Brad Bell and B&B,” he explains. “It was a package deal, and we went right into working and dinners, and everybody met Michelle.
“So we made it like a honeymoon, then work with B&B, then fly back, wrap up B&B in studio, then fly to Vancouver in a couple weeks to start the new season of When Calls the Heart,” he adds. “So yeah, it’s been a pretty cool little couple of months here.”
I Do: Wagner grabbed a selfie with his beautiful bride on their big day.
