One Piece: Episode 1107 Clarifies One Big Detail

One Piece: Episode 1107 Clarifies One Big Detail

There is always a great degree of hype surrounding every One Piece chapter. Eiichiro Oda has mastered the art of manga to keep the audience on its toes. The author is known for including clues about future events in hundreds of chapters before revealing them. It’s hardly surprising that so many fans have made it their passion to analyze every One Piece chapter thoroughly. So, when Chapter 1075 came out, things weren’t different.

There was one particular moment in the chapter where one of the cameras inside the laboratory picked up an image that looked nothing like a human, leaving fans scratching their heads. Immediately, readers began to concoct theories about the possible identity of the person in the picture.

The Theories

Since the silhouette was not fully visible, fans had to rack their brains to find a possible candidate. The vast majority believed it was the silhouette of a person who was not on the island when the Straw Hats arrived. The prime suspect was Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, who appeared in a few chapters prior. The Celestial Dragon was en route to Egghead Island to see through Vegapunk’s extermination. Jaygarcia Saturn is one of the Five Elders, putting him in the World Government’s upper echelon. His orders are absolute, and there are only a handful of individuals who have the authority to oppose him.

Since Saturn was traveling to Egghead Island and fans had never seen him in action, he was the most obvious candidate. Fans began to think that the picture taken from the surveillance was of Saturn, who had morphed into an unknown creature. The subsequent discussions were about Saturn’s possible powers, but the lack of evidence made it hard to guess his Devil Fruit. In the manga, the moment left fans confused, but the anime clearly showed who the individual was.

Episode 1107 Left No Space For Theories

In the episode, the picture was clearer, which made it easy to figure out who the mysterious attacker was. From the looks of it, the culprit was none other than S-Snake, the Seraphim based on Boa Hancock. While the identity was confirmed, things became more complicated. The biggest question was who had ordered S-Snake to destroy the camsnails. Rob Lucci and Kaku were already subdued, so logically, there was no one else left who had the authority and intent to harm the heroes.

From the looks of it, someone has betrayed Vegapunk. They were posing as an ally, but in reality, they were against the Straw Hats and Vegapunk. If they have commanded S-Snake to attack, there is a good chance that the other Seraphim will be ordered to do the same. This puts all the people on Egghead Island at the risk of being killed.

The Motive

The turncoat likely wants to eliminate Dr. Vegapunk and his satellites, and they will not stop until they have accomplished their goal. There is also a chance that they have formed a deal with some organization, and they might trade Dr. Vegapunk’s deepest secrets in exchange for money and other luxurious things. They could be working for another group that might be interested in Vegapunk. Naturally, they would want the scientist to be under their control, and for that, they sent an undercover agent.

Who Could Be The Traitor?

The quisling is likely hidden so they can avoid coming under suspicion. Vegapunk is the smartest person in the world, and trying to fool him would be an unwise decision. So, it is better to stay hidden to avoid triggering any alerts. It is plausible to think that the traitor is someone who has yet to appear in the arc. Given the chaos on Egghead Island, it would be simple for a person to slip under the radar undetected.

There is also a possibility that the backstabber could be someone who is already on Egghead Island. The traitor cannot be a Straw Hat; after all, they have risked their lives countless times for one another. Sentomaru is dedicated to protecting Dr. Vegapunk, as evidenced by his decision to side with the pirates instead of CP0. Both high-ranking members of CP0 are in no condition to fight, and neither can they override Vegapunk’s authority. This leaves just the satellites, but one wonders why they would betray the main body. It has already been made clear that each satellite has its own personality, which means they are not bound to do as Stella says. If a satellite is greedy and evil enough, they would have absolutely no problem betraying the main body. Since Lilith is the embodiment of Vegapunk’s evil side, it would make sense for her to sever all ties with the other satellites and use Stella as a bargaining chip to gain more power and wealth.
