A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s life in California is not as glamorous as it may appear.
Prince Harry has one “major regret” over being in the United States as his new way of life may be coming “under threat”, an insider has claimed.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals in 2020 and have since relocated to Montecito in California, where they are raising their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn told The Mirror US that although being in America at first seemed like an exciting adventure for Harry, the honeymoon period is now over.
He claimed: “During his first six months in the States Harry found everything new and exciting, but the glamour is definitely wearing off.
“However big your garden – and Harry and Meghan’s garden at Montecito is enormous – there’s only so much you can do when you have no practical skills and you have always paid people to cook, clean and garden for you. Harry has never done any of these practical things, so after he’s taken the dog for a walk in the morning, he finds the day long and lonely.”

But there is one thing that the Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 especially regrets, claimed Mr Quinn, and that is making the news of his drug use public.
In his memoir, Spare Harry admitted to using drugs including cocaine and magic mushrooms, leading conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation to launch a lawsuit asking for details of Harry’s visa application to be made public.
They allege that he must have either lied on his application or received special treatment, as the US would not usually permit a person who has made such claims to enter the country.
The Biden administration has fought back, with the form currently being reviewed.
