Manchester United aims to recruit three more stars to enhance their squad for the 2024/25 season. Continuing to bolster their squad for the upcoming season, Manchester United has added three new stars, including Noussair Mazraoui, Youssouf Fofana, and Vanderson, to their transfer target list for the summer of 2024. According to Sky Germany, Manchester United will need to spend between 20-25 million Euros to secure the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, AS Monaco has set a price of 35 million Euros for midfielder Youssouf Fofana, with Vanderson being considered as an alternative option for Fofana.
In addition to this, Xavi Simons is set to join Manchester United within the next 48 hours. Media reports from the UK suggest that following the successful recruitment of forward Joshua Zirkzee, the Red Devils are actively pushing negotiations to bring striker Xavi Simons to Old Trafford. Assistant manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has reportedly engaged in discussions with Sporting Director Dan Ashworth to hasten the deal. Sources in France indicate that Manchester United is prepared to spend 100 million Euros to secure the signature of the Dutch star.
Furthermore, Manchester United is eyeing midfielder Martín Zubimendi as an alternative option if they are unable to secure the transfer of Manuel Ugarte.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is closely monitoring the defensive midfielder from Spain, Martín Zubimendi, in case the deal for Manuel Ugarte falls through. The 25-year-old midfielder, who currently has a release clause of 60 million Euros with Real Sociedad, is highly regarded by Manchester United’s scouts for his consistent performances. United is considering bringing him to Old Trafford if the Manuel Ugarte transfer does not materialize.
