According to Koreaherald, female idol Lisa of the group Blackpink entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 97, with the song released on August 15 “New Woman”, in collaboration with Spanish pop star Rosalía.

Lisa currently holds the record for being the female Kpop artist with the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in history. Behind her are CL (2NE1) – 2 songs, and Jennie, Rosé (Blackpink) each with 1 song.
Additionally, “New Woman” also charted on Billboard’s global charts, including No. 15 on the Global 200, and No. 6 on the Global Excl. US (worldwide excluding the US).
Lisa is also expected to sweep the top American music awards MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs) this year. She is nominated in 4 categories with “Rockstar” including: Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing and Best Kpop Song.
Lisa is the most nominated Kpop artist at the 2024 MTV VMAs. In addition, according to the announcement from the organizers, Lisa will be one of the performing artists at this year’s awards ceremony, held on September 10 in New York, USA.
