Donald Trump praised Brittany Mahomes after she appeared to express her support for the Republican presidential candidate.
On Wednesday, he took to Truth Social to describe the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as “beautiful,” and expressed his excitement to see the couple at Super Bowl LIX.
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump started.
“With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”
Last week, Brittany faced criticism after allegedly liking an Instagram post from Trump where he detailed his policy positions. The 29-year-old also liked a reply from one follower which read, “‘TRUMP-VANCE 2024,” along with another supportive message urging her to voice her political beliefs.
“Glad to see you aren’t backing down,” the liked comment said. ‘We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.
Brittany took to Instagram to address the negativity thrown her way, stating: “I mean honestly… To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.
She reinforced her message days later with a quote from Shane Pruitt: “Contrary to the tone of the world today … You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.”
An insider revealed to the Daily Mail that despite their differences, Brittany and Swift “respect that they have different views” and choose not to discuss politics with each other.
“Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics,” a source stated. “They both know it can tear apart friendships and they respect that they have different views. ”
Mahomes has maintained a private stance on political matters, sharing with Time Magazine, “I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president. I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.
