One Piece will finally return this week after a 2-week long break, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what Oda has prepared for them next. With the official end of the Egghead Island Arc, all eyes are now set on Elbaf, and One Piece chapter 1125 is going to deliver greatly in that regard. Elbaf is one of the major arcs that fans have been waiting decades for, and, in many ways, this arc is most definitely going to be similar to Wano Country.

One Piece is all about massive arcs that showcase various cultures of different countries and tie them together into beautiful, heartwarming stories and that is precisely what fans got across arcs like Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island, and, most importantly, Wano. Now, the story is moving towards Elbaf, and Oda will most likely showcase bits and pieces from this country in One Piece chapter 1125. However, at the same time, it must also be remembered that the Strawhats are not in Elbaf just yet, and this means there is an opportunity for Oda to focus on characters other than this pirate crew.

This was clarified in the story previously, when Vegapunk himself said that Elbaf is a short trip from Egghead. Similarly, fans could see the Giant Warrior Pirates come from Elbaf to Egghead within a day’s time, which, once again, goes to show that Elbaf isn’t all that far away. That said, the short distance doesn’t necessarily mean that the Straw Hat Pirates will get to Elbaf in One Piece chapter 1125. For instance, sometimes, arcs in One Piece span over a single day, yet take hundreds of chapters to complete. Now, that doesn’t mean that Oda will start Elbaf after a 100 chapters, however, what it does mean is that Oda can take as much time as he wants to start it, and in the meanwhile, show fans events from all over the world.

Furthermore, Oda can also set up things in Elbaf, just as he did in the previous chapter. In One Piece chapter 1124, fans got to see a mysterious man sitting on the shores of the Warland, Elbaf, preparing for the arrival of the Strawhats. Perhaps, more information can be revealed about him in One Piece chapter 1125, and, perhaps, fans will see other Elbaf characters too, Saul and Hajrudin, among others, could be preparing for their arrival. Similarly, fans could also see the Strawhat Pirates travel towards Elbaf, with Dorry and Brogy revealing bits and pieces of Elbaf lore to the fans. This would do well to build up the arc even better, and it would certainly make a lot of sense, given that Oda did something similar for Wano Country when the arc began. Kinemon had left the Strawhats a message about how the protective barrier of the country worked. Fans might see similar things in One Piece chapter 1125 pertaining to Elbaf, and that certainly would be very exciting.

The Yonko Are On The Move For The First Time In A While

Given that the Elbaf Arc has begun, fans know that the Straw Hat Pirates will embark on an incredible adventure soon enough. When that happens, Oda won’t get many opportunities to switch away from the land of the Giants. However, right now, the Strawhats have not set foot there, which means this is the perfect opportunity for him to focus on all the major players in One Piece. The biggest players right now in the story are the Yonko. This is because Vegapunk clearly mentioned that whoever lays claim to the One Piece is the one who controls the fate of the world, which implies that pirates are going to be the biggest players in the story from here onwards.

When it comes to the Pirates, fans know that the Yonko reign supreme, and while Luffy is on his way to Elbaf, the other three could end up taking the spotlight in the upcoming chapter, starting with Buggy.

Now, fans might be the least interested in Buggy, but that is exactly why he needs the most attention. Buggy is an individual with incredible character writing. However, in regards to him being a Yonko, his character is still weak. Buggy has been made a Yonko, but he has done little to deserve it. Fans did, however, get to see hints of Buggy having ambition greater than even that of Mihawk and Crocodile. Hopefully, Oda will focus more on Buggy, and fans will get a glimpse of his plan to claim the One Piece itself. He needs to move, and, given that he is leader of the Cross Guild, a confrontation with the Navy might be possible for him in the upcoming chapters of One Piece.

Similarly, Shanks and Blackbeard are likely going to be given some attention in the story moving forward as well, possibly starting with One Piece chapter 1125. Fans know the Shanks is currently looking for Blackbeard, but, whether he is going to succeed in doing that or not remains to be seen. Something incredibly surprising that Oda could do is have Blackbeard be intercepted by Shanks and then these two engage in a battle. Given that Elbaf is Shanks’s Arc, he could very well showcase his true strength against Blackbeard here, and that would certainly be very exciting. However, an argument can also be made on how this is not the right time for them to fight and is too early. Regardless, Shanks will likely continue on his quest to get to Blackbeard, and, at the same time, Blackbeard will likely be returning to the Pirate Island.

Fans might get to see Blackbeard meet with Caribou if he is indeed back at the Pirate Island, which means he will find out information regarding two ancient weapons soon enough. Similarly, Garp, the Navy Hero, is at Hachinosu right now, the Navy will not let this slide. A war against the Navy might be brewing for Blackbeard, and One Piece chapter 1125 could very well focus on that.

Given that Marijoa is under siege and their granaries have been destroyed, they have to take big steps towards protecting their people, which means going to war with the Revolutionary Army. One Piece chapter 1125 could see a confrontation against the God’s Knights begin, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see how things are going to shape in that regard.
