Two members of the famous Korean idol girl group BlackPink, Jisoo and Jennie, have just released impressive information.
Recently, ODDATELIER – Jennie’s management company (member of Blackpink) announced that it has signed a contract with Columbia Records (parent company of Sony Music Entertainment). The record label is home to many global pop stars such as Beyoncé, Adele, Harry Styles… Columbia Records will support Jennie in her promotional activities in the US. Jennie Blackpink will return with a new single in October, a year after releasing “You & Me.”
Previously, the Korean singer’s collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for the song One of the Girls surpassed 1 billion streams on the Spotify platform, and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 20 consecutive weeks. The song earned her a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, making her the first Korean female solo artist to achieve this feat.
