North West humorously teased her well-known mom, Kim Kardashian, about her lack of cooking at home.

In a conversation for an Interview Magazine article, North, who is 11, made a point that it had been almost two years since Kim, aged 43, had prepared a meal for her family.

‘You haven’t cooked for us in a long time. Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago,’ North remarked.

The young star, who is the daughter of rapper Kanye West, reminisced about the last dish Kim prepared—’mac and cheese.’

Kim quickly chimed in, saying, ‘And fried chicken and cornbread. I’m a one-trick pony. Is that one meal good?’

North also mentioned that her mom is ‘really good at making me cucumbers and salt.’

This candid moment was part of North’s feature on the cover of the Fall 2024 issue of Interview Magazine.

In addition to cooking, the duo discussed various topics, including North’s thoughts on school, her father, and her spiritual beliefs.

On the magazine’s cover, North beamed in a camouflage jacket that matched her cropped pants.

Earlier in July, Kim’s former chef Jesse Henderson publicly shared some of the culinary staples in Kim’s diet.

Despite Kim’s dedication to maintaining her figure, Jesse revealed that she enjoys cheat meals such as ‘chicken tenders and fries’ alongside ‘pasta with no sauce.’

Jesse, who worked for the family intermittently in 2021 and 2022, expressed surprise at Kim’s affinity for carbohydrates.

The 43-year-old’s unexpected love for carbs has led her to prepare dishes like mac and cheese for North.

During a trip to the Caribbean, Jesse recounted a moment when Kim expressed her true dining desires, saying, ‘Everyone is probably telling you quinoa this and veggie that, but I just want to be honest with you, I want chicken tenders and pasta with no sauce.’

He revealed that Kim preferred her kitchen stocked with tasty snack options to satisfy her cravings.

Jesse added, ‘She is very down to earth and she was very direct about what her cravings were.’

When discussing essential items for Kim’s home kitchen, the chef noted: ‘[The Kardashians] always had to have pretty relatable stuff.

‘They always had to have pasta, fries, chicken tenders, and burgers in their kitchen.’
