A reality TV star famed for her likeness to Marilyn Monroe says people are quick to make their minds up about her because of her glamorous aesthetic.
An Ex on the Beach star says being attractive has led to cruel misconceptions.
Leylah Linda said her intelligence and character are often insulted by strangers who jump to conclusions about her. The social media influencer, famed for being a Marilyn Monore lookalike, therefore feels that being hot is a curse.
She has worked as a model in recent years and has built a platform online by sharing glamorous photographers.
But despite having thousands of admirers, she told the Daily Star: “People like to 𝑠e𝑥ualise you and only think you are pretty with no brains.

“I have learnt over the past couple of years how business-minded I am and that being beautiful makes me even more powerful than what I would be if I was normal looking.”
Leylah added: “People seem to forget that you’re a good person and just assume you’re horrible or stuck up just because you’re beautiful.
“I want people to know that just because someone is good-looking, don’t look at them as a competition, and that we are all human too.
“We don’t mean to intimidate and if you actually take time to know us or me personally I would be the best person to have in your life. I have the most beautiful soul and I know that I was put on earth to be a beauty icon and that’s what I will be.”

Leylah was crowned Hastings Carnival Queen when she was 15 and she remembers her mum telling her she could be the next Marilyn Monroe. She has embodied the legendary Hollywood actress ever since and has featured on TV shows like Dating Naked UK.
However, the red lipstick loving model previously opened up about how comparing herself to Marilyn led to vile death threats.

She told us: “I don’t really get that (death threats) any more – but it was a thing when I started off doing it.
“It has done me well and I do actually look like her and it is just jealousy and hate and do you know what? I thrive off that and it is just because they want to be me.”
