Singer Mika Singh expressed his support for actor Salman Khan during a recent stage performance, referring to him as his brother. The 58-year-old actor has received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which also claimed responsibility for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, with whom Salman shared a close bond.

In a video from Mika’s latest concert, the 47-year-old singer gave a shout-out to Salman. While singing his popular song “Ganpat,” Mika paused to say, “Bhai hu main bhai, tu fikar na kar. Uski m** ki, uski b**n ki, jo dekhe idhar (Brother, don’t worry I am here for you).”

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has sworn revenge against Salman ever since he was accused of hunting a blackbuck in Rajasthan in 1998, an animal revered by the Bishnoi tribes. A few months ago, members of the gang fired warning shots outside Salman’s Bandra residence.

Last week, Salman Khan received a threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore to settle the long-standing feud with gangster Bishnoi. However, the sender has now apologised, stating that the message was sent by mistake.

In response to these escalating threats, Salman Khan has been provided with Y+ security, and there is a strong police presence outside his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments. He recently shot for an episode of Bigg Boss 18 in the presence of 60 security personnel, with no outsiders allowed to enter the compound without Aadhaar card verification.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman will next be seen in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, slated for release around Eid 2025. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in important roles.
