According to a One Piece theory, Loki has a mythical Devil Fruit that would make him the biggest challenge that Luffy has ever faced in the series.
Ever since Loki’s character was introduced in One Piece, speculations about his powers, especially his Devil Fruit abilities, have taken over the internet. Fans have been trying to guess what would be Loki’s mysterious Devil Fruit abilities that made him the Strongest Giant in the One Piece world and even earned him the title of Sun God.

Loki’s character has been an anomaly since the Whole Cake Island arc when he was first introduced. Earlier, he was assumed to be a goofy character who ruled Elbaph as a prince. But when the Straw Hat Pirates actually reached Elbaph in One Piece, they found out that Loki was nothing like he was foreshadowed. In fact, he looked like a combination of Kaido and Doflamingo.
Plus, his introduction also included the Devil Fruit that he ate and how it was a legendary fruit that was passed through the royal line of Elbaph. This led to fans devising multiple theories, and according to one theory, Loki has a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit that links him to Fenrir from Norse mythology and makes him insanely strong compared to Luffy’s Gear 5.
Speculations About Loki’s Devil Fruit
The recent One Piece manga chapters have portrayed a menacing image of the accursed prince of Elbaph, which has led fans to believe that he might be the main antagonist of the Elbaph arc. According to other Giants, Loki earned the title of the Accursed Prince after he killed his father, King Harald, in order to obtain the mysterious legendary Devil Fruit that is passed down through the Elbaph’s royal bloodline.
Ideally, this Devil Fruit should have been given to Loki’s elder brother Hajrudin, but Loki decided to take it for himself and become the strongest giant in the One Piece world. With the series going on a hiatus, fans have been trying to guess what the Devil Fruit powers of Loki could be.

While some believe that it might be a clone of Luffy’s Devil Fruit, others believe that it might be related to fire, as Loki calls himself the Sun God and promises to ruin the One Piece world. These theories and assumptions have spread all across the internet and have given next-level hype to the upcoming One Piece chapter.
One Piece Theory Claims Loki Has A Mythical Devil Fruit
According to a theory posted by u/QuirkyData3500 on Reddit, Loki’s Devil Fruit powers might be a combination of the Norse mythology god Loki and his son Fenrir. The Fenrir angle comes from the fact that, just like Loki, he was imprisoned in special chains, and he was one of the main perpetrators of Ragnarok. If the theory is assumed to be correct, then Loki’s Devil Fruit powers might be a reactive adaptation.

In Norse mythology, Loki has the ability to adapt to any situation and change himself accordingly with the help of magic. While magic is quite a rare phenomenon, Loki of One Piece might be able to use this ability with the help of his Devil Fruit. He can adapt to any kind of attack or situation and change his physical structure, giving him new abilities for a small amount of time.
This ability is quite similar to Gear 5 Luffy’s Toon Face, which allows Luffy to adapt himself and his surroundings into humorous environments just like in cartoons. However, Loki’s ability might be on the next level and could give Luffy a run for his money.
