The Elbaf arc of One Piece continues to surprise the fans with each passing chapter, and it is safe to say that the recent developments in One Piece chapter 1134 are absolutely stunning. Fans had been waiting for the main villains of Elbaf to be introduced properly in the story for quite a while now, and finally, Oda has delivered.
Towards the end of One Piece chapter 1134, fans saw two mysterious characters show up on Elbaf, and they are most certainly going to serve the role of main antagonists in this part of the story. Of course, their identities still remain undisclosed, even though one of them looks very similar in appearance to a fan-favorite individual.
Who Are Elbaf’s Two Main Villains?
Shanks’s Twin Showed Up On Elbaf
Another Hooded Individual Is A Big Mystery
As was seen towards the end of One Piece chapter 1134, the Elbaf arc now has its main set of villains. If there was one thing that the Elbaf arc of One Piece was lacking, it was a proper antagonistic group. Now, this does not mean that Oda couldn’t nail this aspect of the story properly in Elbaf. But, it simply meant that fans needed to wait a bit before they started appearing in the story, and the adventure aspect of the arc wrapped up. Oda took his time in exploring the different levels of Elbaf, with the Astral World being left out for later in the arc.
I want to talk about a certain pirate. – Shanks’s twin
Regardless, One Piece chapter 1134 gave fans their first look at the main antagonists of this arc, and both of them are affiliated with the World Government. At the very end of the chapter, a massive summoning circle was seen in the second level of Elbaf, the Sun World. This summoning circle is very similar to the one that was utilized in the Egghead Arc and the Gorosei spawned out of. This makes one believe that this ability is related to either a member of the Five Elders, or, potentially even Imu. Through this summoning circle, fans saw two characters emerge, and one of them has actually been introduced to the fans in One Piece chapter 907.
Back then, a mysterious caped individual was seen meeting the Five Elders. Fans assumed this character to be the red-haired Emperor, Shanks, due to the identical appearance. Now, however, fans know that this character is actually not Shanks but someone else entirely.
The Connection Between Shanks And Elbaf’s Villains
Shanks Is The Brother Of Elbaf’s Main Villain
As friends know, Shanks is currently sailing the seas with the Red Hair Pirates. He isn’t in Elbaf and already left this place quite a while ago, with different missions to tend to. Clearly, this person cannot be Shanks, but, it is certainly someone who looks exactly like him, which is where the confusion kicks in. The truth of the matter is that this individual is related to Shanks by blood. He is Shanks’s twin brother, and, as fans know, St Garling Figarland actually has more than just one child. It was heavily hinted at in the Kuma flashback of the Egghead Arc that St Garling has multiple children.
Watch closely, children! – Garling Figarland
As to how many, fans don’t know, but, at the very least, one can assume that Garling had two children. All of his children were present during the God Valley Incident, and this is where Shanks was separated from the Figarland family. Meanwhile, the other child, who is presumably Shanks’s twin, stayed with the World Government and is now being sent to Elbaf. The name of this character has not been revealed yet and it will likely be revealed in One Piece chapter 1135, which means that fans will have to wait for its release. However, at the very least, what readers know already is that this Shanks look-alike is the main antagonist of the Elbaf Arc.
Then, there is another individual with Shanks who was wearing a similar cape, and it is clear that this character could also be potentially related to him. Although the face doesn’t match up, fans don’t know exactly how many children Garling has, and, the fact that she is working in tandem with the Shanks look alike makes it seem as if this character could be related to Shanks as well.
It is also possible that this character, who most likely works for the Holy Knights, is from another Celestial family. While it is unknown as to which family it could be, fans know the Manmeyer family has been previously introduced. But, at the same time, it should also be kept in mind that there are many other families that Oda has not revealed in One Piece yet, and this other woman could be from any one of them. As is the case with the Shanks look alike, fans will most likely find out more information about her in the upcoming chapter.
What Is The Future Role Of Elbaf’s Intruders?
The Intruders Will Cause Havoc in the Country Of Elbaf
The future of Elbaf’s Intruders all depends on which way Oda wants to handle this arc. The fact is that it doesn’t seem likely that they will fight immediately in Elbaf as things are. This is because they are far too few in number, and they can’t possibly stand up to the might of the Giant Warrior Pirates, combined with the Straw Hat Pirates, and of course, the likes of Loki. An all-out battle between these two individuals and the entirety of the alliance on the other side seems suicidal, to say the least. However, if the God’s Knights are truly majestic individuals, where each of them is comparable to a Yonko, then, of course, this battle would make sense.
As of now, there is nothing that indicates that these individuals are on the level of Yonko. This leads one to believe that these individuals are there to deliver a message. Given that they are still to play an antagonistic role in this arc, this message is likely going to be a warning from the World Government, and information about impending doom that Elbaf could face. It is likely that these individuals, after a skirmish, will head back to where they came from, because they possibly cannot be taken down so early after being introduced. Fans should keep an eye out for these characters, but, above all, remember that they likely are not going to fight an all-out battle here already, at least not without further backup.
Of course, that doesn’t take away anything from their importance to the Elbaf arc, and even if they do leave, they are likely to return later down the line when doom falls upon Elbaf and Ragnarok officially begins. So far, fans should be excited that Elbaf finally has its own set of antagonists now, and hopefully, things will get clear with time.
